#57 Date Insertion

Did you know that Advisors Assistant uses certain Hot Keys to make inserting a date, time, and initials very easy? The type of Hot Key that you use depends on the type of field in which you are inputting the date.

If you are entering the date into a Text Field, like a note, you would use the keyboard Hot Keys of F2, F3 and F4 to enter information. Hitting F2 on the keyboard inputs the current date and user initials, F3 inputs the current date, time and user initials, and F4 inputs just the user initials.

To input the current date into a Date Field, all you have to do is press any key on your keyboard and the current date will be populated.
